Back to the Music
Why I am returning to the creative work that shaped the beginning of my story.
For most of my twenties I lived inside the studio — engineering, producing, chasing the sound that felt like home. Life pulled me away from the creative work for a long stretch, and for years the music sat in the background while everything else took the front seat.
Coming back at 40 hits different. The urgency is clearer. The taste is sharper. I'm not trying to relive my twenties — I'm picking up the thread with everything I learned in the years away.
This entry is the start of the paper trail. The comeback is about new records, archived material finally seeing daylight, and the discipline to keep showing up in the studio when no one is watching.
